Nisga'a totem pole by Oyay and Gwanes.Royal Scottish Museum, 2007- I like this totem because it's very tall, with no colors and just red wood. It looks rich, and very neat.

I like this Totem because, It's very creative, and I never saw one like it before. It's one figure with really a head that holds really tall feathers. I believe it's a Native American type of totem pole.
When it comes to mine, I would love to make o ne that has a hawaiian culture to it, so it's the mean face paintings with flowers and pineapples! I've always admired these things (the totem poles). I never knew the complete history/purpose behind the art, but this project woukld be a fun learning experience!
